The Shaka Love Story
Growing up on the beaches of San Diego and traveling to Hawaii as often as possible, my love of the ocean and the call to take care of it was always on my heart. While living in Hawaii for several years and raising our three boys on the south shores of Maui, my husband Chris and I also grew to truly love, respect, and admire the Hawaiian virtues of Aloha, Mahalo, ‘Ohana, and Pono. Along with our Christian faith, these Hawaiian virtues have become the central tenants of our family’s value system and the model by which we seek to live our lives.
It is from this deep love, respect, and admiration for all that makes our world wondrous, that our company, Shaka Love, was born. Inspired by our life on the Hawaiian islands, we have created a company that produces fun, functional, and eco-friendly beach products and gifts, engages in honest and fair business practices, donates 10% of its profits to protect our planet, and embraces the Hawaiian values of respect, loyalty, and love for family, community, and our planet.
It is our hope that Shaka Love will be able to bring Aloha, Mahalo, ‘Ohana, and Pono into your home, family, and life, and that you will be inspired in the same way that we have been.
